So The Spice Girls are in my playlist, I'm 29, don't look at me. Image: brian rasic/Getty Images Like a speaker hog at a house party, everyone loves a solid nostalgia moment when it comes to playlisting. Spotify is capitalising on the inherent human need to dredge up the past and roll around in it with a brand new personalised playlist generated from your birthdate. "Your Time Capsule" gathers tunes from your teens and early twenties, throwing them all together in a personalised, inevitably cheesy trip down memory lane. Eminem left the internet shook during a heated cypher at the BET Awards Tuesday night. Performing in a Detroit parking garage, the rapper ripped President Donald Trump to shreds in a politically-charged freestyle which lasted just under five minutes. No problem. Image: NOAM GALAI/GETTY IMAGES We almost lost another great one. SoundCloud, an online network for sharing and enjoying music, had been crashing. The website was unable to pull in enough money to meet its costs. Last month, the company was forced to lay off 173 employees, which was about 40 percent of its workforce. The move caused an uproar, online. SoundCloud's future appeared in serious doubt. Chance the Rapper, one of many artists who frequently uses the platform to share his work, tweeted that he was on the case. Just had a very fruitful call with Alex Ljung. [...]

If these features are definite, they could make driving while listening to Spotify easier. Image: Franck Robichon/Epa/REX/Shutterstock Spotify may be testing out driving features that could make listening on the road a whole lot easier, according to some Reddit users. But the company told Mashable it has "no news to share." People were reporting that they've been given access to features on the Android app, such as bigger buttons, and a voice that tells listeners the name of the song they're listening to, as well as the artists. By and large, Reddit users seem unimpressed with the new features. SEE [...]
