Apple’s new iPhones have fast charging, but it’s not free

The iPhone X supports fast charging. According to Apple’s official specs, it only takes 30 minutes to charge its battery up to 50%. Pretty neat, huh? But there’s a problem, as noticed by Cnet: When you buy an iPhone X — or iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, which support the same feature — you don’t get fast charging out of the box.
